1.5. Instrumentna plošča - spodnji del (Instrument Board - Lower section)

 

V ekranu je bila dodana prozorna plastika in dva gumba na plošči pod ekranom.

 

A radar scope has been modified with transparent plastic and two buttons beneath the screen.

 

1.6. Instrumentna plošča - zgornji del (Instrument Board - Upper section)

Na epoksidnem delu (R19) so bili reliefni instrumenti pobrušeni. Na njihovo mesto sta bili nalepljeni ustrezni ploščici, ki sta bili odrezani z originalnih jedkanih delov (iz "škatle").

On epoxy part (R19) I grinded the relief instruments. I replaced the old part with a new plates, from the original PE parts( from the box).

 

 

1.7. Leva in desna stran kabine (Left and right side of the Cockpit)

 

Najprej je bila z modro-zeleno barvo pobarvana notranjost epoksidnega dela (R8) nato pa vsa stikala, tipke in nekateri instrumenti.
Recept za izdelavo barve notranjosti je naslednji:
- Model Master Flat Green 1571 cca 10%
- Model Master Blue Gloss 1510 cca 45%
- Model Master Insignia White 17875 cca 45%

 

I used blue-green colour for the epoxy part (R8), all switches and instruments. The colours I used for the interior:
Model master flat green 1571 -cca 10%
Model Master blue gloss 1510- cca 45%
Model master insignia white 17875 cca 45%

 

 

Skoraj vse instrumentne ploščice ter nekateri drugi deli so bili nalepljeni z UHU dvokomponentnim lepilom (čas strjevanja 2 uri).

 

Almost all instrument boards and other parts were glued with UHU two-conponent glue (drying time app. 2 hours)

1. KABINA (Cockpit)

 

1.1. Pokrov kabine (Canopy)

 

Pokrov kabine je bil stanjšan po celotnem obodu, spodnji rob na obeh straneh pa odebeljen. Od jedkanih delov so bili uporabljeni samo zapiralni mehanizem (PE12, PE13), kovinski obroč (PE9) ter ploščice z napisi. Vsi ostali detajli so samogradnja.

 

The whole circumference of the canopy had been thinned. The lower edge on both sides had been widened with thin plastic card. From the photo-etched set I had used the canopy locking mechanism (PE12, PE13), metal ring (PE9) and some plates. All other details were scratch-built.

 

 

 

 

 1.2. Vetrobransko steklo (Windshield)

Uporabljena sta bila oba epoksidna dela (R23, R25), kljuka na vrhu je samogradnja. Ostali detajli bodo dodani na samem koncu montaže.

Both resin parts (R23, R25) had been used, the hook on the top of the windshield was scratch-built. Other details will be added at the very end of assembling.

 

1.3. Zadnja stena kabine (The back wall of the cockpit)

 

Reliefni detajli na zadnji tretjini zadnje stene (R9) so bili pobrušeni in narejeni v samogradnji.

Relief details on the upper third of the back wall had been grind off and scratch-built.

1.4. Katapultni sedež KM-1 (Ejection seat KM-1)

Uporabljeni so bili vsi dodatki iz kompleta. Naslonjalo za glavo je bilo predelano in spremenjen način njegovega vpetja. Vsi detajli za naslonjalom so samogradnja. Samogradnja so tudi detajli na levi strani sedeža in prav tako pasovi, ki priklenejo noge pilota ko se sedež aktivira. Dodani so bili manjkajoči varnostni pasovi, ki so prav tako samogradnja. Nalepke za naslonjalo so od Balkan Models, ker so Eduardove prevelike.

All parts from Eduard Brassin set had been used. The head-rest had been reshaped. I had also changed the way of placing it on its position. All details behind the head-rest were scratch-built. Furthermore I scratch-built all details on the left side of the seat and also belts which Tighten pilots legs when ejection seat is activated. Missing seat belts also had been added. Decals for head-rest were made by Balkan Models. Decals from Eduard are too big.
